GPSDO Performance Comparison
Detailed measurement data and visual analysis comparing two Leo Bodnar GPS Disciplined Oscillators under controlled laboratory conditions.
Measurement Setup
- DUT 1: Leo Bodnar LBE-1420 (connected to Channel A)
- DUT 2: Leo Bodnar Mini Precision GPS Reference Clock (connected to Channel B)
- External Reference: AR-40A Rubidium Frequency Standard
- Frequency Counter: TinyGTC by Erik Kaashoek (referenced to the AR-40A)
- Antenna: Both units share a common outdoor roof antenna via a precision active splitter.
- Methodology: Cross-swapped all hardware (power supplies, cables, counter channels) to ensure results are intrinsic to the GPSDO units.
